INTRODUCTORY CURRICULUM FOR
WORKERS COOPERATIVES:
NEXT OFFERED IN 2025
Cooperación Santa Ana is a development program for cooperatives, where you can receive an introductory course, technical assistance, and incubation from start to finish of your business.
Participate in our intensive introductory course "CooperAccion": 12 consecutive sessions for people interested in creating or strengthening their business cooperatively, where all workers are owners. If you have a business that you want to grow, or a business idea that you want to formalize, a worker cooperative can be a great option. In a cooperative, the workers are the owners, and the well-being of its members and the community are of great importance.

In 12 weeks you will develop business management agreements, your business plan and marketing strategies. You'll gain foundational skills such as nonviolent communication, facilitation, and shared decision-making. You will establish restorative accountability agreements and processes, and you will identify the best legal structure to register your business.
The course will be in Spanish, with English interpretation available. The class will be one night a week for three hours, and the exact time will be confirmed in 2025. To enroll in the course, complete our interest list and we will be in touch within 1-2 weeks to discuss your idea and the next course. If you have questions, feel free to call 714-335-1528.
