MEET THE COOPERATIVES

Meet Orange County's Co-ops: 75 participants have graduated from the CooperAccion Curriculum in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023, and below are the 15 worker-owned businesses and worker-led projects that have sprung up in Orange County and Los Angeles as a result.

Cooperatives:

Radiate Consulting Orange County

Radiate is a community-based consulting company providing contact tracing, facilitation, connection to services, and other responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.

La Milpa Cafe

La Milpa Cafe will open at the Walnut and Daisy community land trust in summer 2024. They offer artisan snowcones, seasonal flavors, delicious desserts, and ethically sourced coffee from all over the world.

SALSA Cooperative Food Hub

The Santa Ana Local Food System (SALSA) presents a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program and is a cooperative linked to CRECE Urban Farms, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering Santa Ana through education and hands-on experience in creating and maintaining environmentally sustainable organic farms. 

CareShare OC

Careshare OC is a worker-owned, nanny-owned cooperative that offers a home care model, allowing families to receive safe, respectful and loving care within their own homes.

SaboryArte

SaboryArte is a worker cooperative restaurant based in Santa Ana, California. Their vision to preserve ancestral, pre-Hispanic foods and Mexican culture while generating income for their worker-owners and serving the Latinx community.

AZ Construction Group

AZ Construction began as a small construction company in Costa Mesa, with the aim of making dreams come true with the space available to their clients. Currently, they offer interior design and construction to help clients find their homes as easily as possible and make changes to their property.
